Ingredients
- 4 medium baking potatoes
- 1 medium onion, cut in half lengthwise
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- salt to taste
- other seasonings can be used (optional)
Method
- Cut potatoes crosswise into 1/8 to 1/4-inch slices, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Slice halved onion into thin slices.
- Wedge these slices into potato cuts.
- Brush with melted butter and season.
- Wrap tightly in foil.
- Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until done.
- Serves 4.
