Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. (8 oz.) Cheddar cheese, grated
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Cook macaroni as package label directs and drain.
- Melt butter in medium saucepan.
- Remove from heat. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
- Gradually stir in milk.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer mixture 1 minute. Remove from heat.
