Ingredients
- 2 bunches broccoli
- 10 slices bacon
- 1 red onion
- 1/3 c. raisins
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
Method
- Cut broccoli flowerets into smaller than bite-sized pieces. Cut off tough outer layer of stalks and chop tender part into small pieces (8 cups broccoli).
- In small skillet, saute bacon until crisp.
- Set aside.
- Slice onion lengthwise, then cut into julienne strips.
- In large bowl, combine broccoli, onion, raisins and crumbled bacon.
