- 1 (12 oz.) can luncheon meat
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce (with cheese)
- 1 (8 oz.) can baby lima beans, drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn, undrained
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. bell pepper flakes
- 1 c. biscuit mix
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. paprika
Method
- Heat oil in Dutch oven. Brown 1-inch cubes of meat.
- Stir in other ingredients. Simmer and cook 10 minutes.
- Mix biscuit mix and water. Drop on stew.
- Add oregano and paprika.
- Cover tightly and simmer 20 minutes or until dumplings are done.
