Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, cut up
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 4 c. hash brown potatoes
- 1 c. water
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Method
- Fry bacon; saute onion and drain.
- Add potatoes and water; cook until tender.
- Stir in remaining ingredients; heat thoroughly.
- Do not boil.
- Add more milk if chowder becomes too thick.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
