Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/4 cups Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • Salt And Black Pepper
  • 4 Hamburger Rolls
  • 8 strips Fully Cooked Bacon
  • 1-13 cup Baby Arugula
  • 1 log (10 Oz. Size) Goat's Cheese, Crumbled
  • 1/4 cups Honey

Method

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder and a dash of salt and pepper.
  • Mix thoroughly to combine, until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Form mixture into 4 equal-sized (quarter pound) burgers.
  • Spray each side of the patties with a nonstick canola oil spray.
  • Set aside.
  • Heat a large griddle or grill pan over medium to medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, add burger patties.
  • Cook burgers to your liking, flipping them halfway through (56 minutes on each side for medium).
  • Remove burgers from pan and set aside to rest for just a couple of minutes.
  • Leave stove on, with heat set to medium-low.
  • While burgers are resting, take rolls and separate tops from bottoms.
  • Place the inside of each roll down onto hot griddle or grill pan and toast until lightly brown.
  • I was able to toast 2 whole rolls (4 halves) at a time.
  • Set aside.
  • Assemble burgers by layering 2 slices of bacon and 1/3 cup of arugula on each roll bottom.
  • Place burger patty on top, then top with goat cheese.
  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey on each burger and then place on roll tops.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
