Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. canned milk (evaporated)
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
  • 3/4 c. peanut butter

Method

  • In saucepan, mix margarine, sugar and evaporated milk together and bring to a boil.
  • Boil for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add marshmallow cream and peanut butter.
  • Beat until mixture begins to thicken.
  • Pour into a lightly greased (margarine) 8 x 12-inch Pyrex dish.
  • Cool before cutting.
  • Serves 16.
