Ingredients
- pastry for a 9-inch 2 crust pie
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 c. sliced cooking apples (such as Jonathan, Golden Delicious or Winesap)
- 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries (whole or chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Method
- Prepare the pastry; divide into 2 portions.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out one portion of pastry.
- Fit into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Trim pastry 1/2 inch beyond edge of pie plate. Roll out remaining pastry for top crust; cover and set aside.
