- 1/2 c. medium chopped onions
- 2 tsp. butter
- 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix
- 2 beef bouillon cubes (1 cube plus 1/2 c. water)
- 2 lb. hamburger (chuck)
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 can tomato sauce (10 oz.)
Method
- Saute onions in butter.
- Mix stuffing and bouillon cubes (boiled with water) in bowl.
- Add onions, beef, cheese, parsley, egg, salt and pepper; blend.
- Form in loaf.
- Dot with butter. Bake at 375° for 1 hour and 45 minutes until brown.
- Add tomato sauce and oregano.
- Bake 1/2 hour.
