Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. medium chopped onions
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes (1 cube plus 1/2 c. water)
  • 2 lb. hamburger (chuck)
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 can tomato sauce (10 oz.)

Method

  • Saute onions in butter.
  • Mix stuffing and bouillon cubes (boiled with water) in bowl.
  • Add onions, beef, cheese, parsley, egg, salt and pepper; blend.
  • Form in loaf.
  • Dot with butter. Bake at 375° for 1 hour and 45 minutes until brown.
  • Add tomato sauce and oregano.
  • Bake 1/2 hour.
