Ingredients

  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 2 (3 oz.) boxes jello (any flavor)
  • 1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip

Method

  • Mix cake as directed.
  • Reserve 1/3 of the mixture.
  • Add 1 box of the dry jello into it, blending with a whisk.
  • Alternate layers in the cake pan, 1/3 white, 1/3 jello, 1/3 white.
  • Bake as directed.
  • Cool completely.
  • Mix 1 cup of hot water with one box of jello.
  • Chill and allow to almost set.
  • Blend into the Cool Whip using it to frost the cake.
  • Refrigerate.
