Ingredients
- 1 c. Shortening
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 2 Eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. Mashed Potatoes
- 1 pkg. Yeast dissolved in one c. of warm water
- 1 c. Milk, scalded
- 6 c. self-rising Flour
Method
- Mix shortening, sugar and salt together.
- Add other ingredients in order given.
- Mix well after each and pour into floured surface.
- Work in more flour in dough until you can pick up without sticking to hands.
- Place in large bowl and place in refrigerator over night.
- Next morning knead dough and roll out. Bake at 400 degrees.
