Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. tap water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 c. white flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in water.
- Add shortening, salt and honey.
- Work flours into mixture, kneading well.
- Let rise until double.
- Shape into rolls and let rise again.
- Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
- Makes 12 rolls.
