- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 5 to 6 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seed
Method
- Mix 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, ginger and salt in a large bowl.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of the beaten egg with 1 tablespoon water in a small bowl.
- Set aside to be used later for glaze.
- Add the remaining eggs, 2 1/4 cups warm water and oil to flour mixture. Beat in 4 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour.
