Ingredients
- 4 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 cup sugar (granulated)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix flour and milk in sauce pan.
- Cook over low flame until thick.
- Put in bowl and cool.
- Cream butter and Crisco for 4 minutes with electric mixer.
- Add sugar gradually and beat 4 minutes.
- Add flour paste and beat 4 minutes.
- Add vanilla and blend.
