Ingredients
- 1 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 c. green pepper, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 2 tomatoes
Method
- Cut beef across grain in thin strips.
- Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger and beef.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Add beef and toss until brown.
- Cover and simmer until tender, 30 to 40 minutes. Add vegetables and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
