Ingredients
- 1 medium watermelon
- 3 lb. sugar to 6 lb. meat
- orange juice
- lemon juice
Method
- Remove seeds and cut watermelon meat into cubes.
- Place in preserving kettle with sugar.
- Add orange and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring very often to prevent mixture from burning.
- Cook jam until it will stay in place when dropped from a teaspoon onto a cool plate.
- Pour into jars and seal.
