Ingredients

  • 6 c. apple cider or juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 1 (18 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple juice (2 1/4 cups)
  • orange slices
  • cinnamon sticks

Method

  • Heat cider and 1 cinnamon stick to boiling.
  • Decrease heat. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
  • Uncover and stir in remaining ingredients, except orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
  • Simmer 5 minutes longer.
  • Serve in punch bowl.
  • Float orange slices on top. Use cinnamon sticks as stirrers.
