Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1 egg, beaten
Method
- Mix egg, sugar and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to the first mix. When it's smooth, add the walnuts.
- In a baking pan, 9 x 13-inch, pour the batter and bake for 25 minutes in a 375° oven until it gets brown but the center is still soft.
- Cut into small pieces.
- Makes 30 cookies.
