Ingredients
- 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. margarine
- 4 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 1 loaf unsliced bread
Method
- Melt first three ingredients in top of double boiler.
- Fold stiffly beaten egg whites into cheese mixture.
- Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
- Dip bread cubes into mixture and place on well-greased cookie sheet and freeze.
- When frozen, place in plastic bags.
- Bake, unthawed, at 400° for 15 minutes.
