Ingredients

  • 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 4 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • 1 loaf unsliced bread

Method

  • Melt first three ingredients in top of double boiler.
  • Fold stiffly beaten egg whites into cheese mixture.
  • Cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
  • Dip bread cubes into mixture and place on well-greased cookie sheet and freeze.
  • When frozen, place in plastic bags.
  • Bake, unthawed, at 400° for 15 minutes.
