Ingredients
- 5 to 6 whole squash
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- grated cheese (lite or regular)
- smoked sausage or cooked bacon, cut up
- 1/2 c. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Wash and slice squash.
- Drop into hard boiling water.
- Bring back to boiling.
- Drain and run tap water over squash.
- Place in ice water until chilled.
- Drain again and put in freezer bags.
