Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. pepper
  • 2 eggs (if small 3)
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/2 gal. oil

Method

  • Cut cauliflower into small stem pieces.
  • Boil in water for 10 minutes.
  • Drain in colander.
  • In a bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper.
  • In a different bowl, beat eggs, then add milk and beat. Dip the cauliflower pieces into egg mixture and then into the flour.
  • On high heat, prepare oil in frying pan.
  • When hot, lower to medium and fry cauliflower pieces.
  • When brown, remove and drain on paper towel.
