Ingredients

  • 13 cup olive oil (or an oil substitute)
  • 14 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 -4 fresh basil leaves (I use purple from the garden)
  • 1 fresh sage leaf
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 12 teaspoon dry parsley flakes
  • black pepper

Method

  • Throw in blender and blend til smooth.
  • This was EXCELLENT on lettuce salad, as dressing for a cucumber salad, etc.
  • Oil substitute: 1T cornstarch dissolved in 1C water.
  • Bring to boil and simmer stirring constantly until the mixture clears up.
  • Store for up to one week.
  • Throw in blender and blend til smooth.
