Ingredients
- 13 cup olive oil (or an oil substitute)
- 14 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 -4 fresh basil leaves (I use purple from the garden)
- 1 fresh sage leaf
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 12 teaspoon dry parsley flakes
- black pepper
Method
- Throw in blender and blend til smooth.
- This was EXCELLENT on lettuce salad, as dressing for a cucumber salad, etc.
- Oil substitute: 1T cornstarch dissolved in 1C water.
- Bring to boil and simmer stirring constantly until the mixture clears up.
- Store for up to one week.
