- 2 quarts beef broth
- 1 (15 ounce) can navy beans, drained and rinsed
- 12 ounces chicken, cubed
- 8 ounces ham, diced
- 1 cup cubed red potatoes
- 1 cup cut green beans
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped leek
- 1/2 cup sliced carrot
- 1/2 cup celery
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup asparagus spear
- salt and pepper
Method
- Combine all ingredients except asparagus in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours, adding asparagus during last 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
