Ingredients

  • 16 oz. ground turkey
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. sliced vegetables (your choice; mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc.)
  • 2 c. tomato sauce
  • 6 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls

Method

  • In a pan sprayed with nonstick spray, saute the turkey, celery, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan; top with your choice of veggies.
  • Pour tomato sauce over this and top with cheese.
  • Cover with the crescent rolls. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the crust is a golden brown.
  • Let set for 5 minutes before serving.
