Ingredients
- 8 slices bread
- 2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
- 1 c. celery
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 c. cheese
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Trim crust from bread; reserve crusts.
- Cut bread diagonally into quarters.
- Cut crusts into cubes.
- Combine bread cubes, chicken, celery and cheese.
- Mix well.
- Spoon into 11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish.
- Arrange bread quarters over mixture. Combine mayonnaise, eggs and seasonings.
- Mix well.
- Add milk. Pour over bread.
- Cover.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes.
- Makes 8 servings.
