Ingredients

  • 1 12-oz. tube of Jimmy Dean sausage, hot, mild or sage, whatever you like
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 recipe of cornbread, baked and crumbled
  • 1 tube of biscuits, baked and crumbled
  • chicken stock
  • poultry seasoning to taste
  • sage to taste, fresh if you've got it.

Method

  • Brown the sausage, adding the onions and celery when the sausage is half browned.
  • Add the sausage mixture, the stock and the seasonings to the crumbled cornbread and biscuits and mix well.
  • Spread out into a 9 x 13 baking dish and bake at 350 until the top is nice and brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
