Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
  • 1/4 lb. oleo (1 stick)
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 c. chicken or turkey, diced
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1/4 c. green onions, diced
  • 1/2 c. celery, cut up
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. College Inn broth

Method

  • Mix together lightly first 3 ingredients.
  • Put 1/2 of mixture in buttered 9 x 12-inch pan.
  • Combine chicken, onions, mayonnaise and salt; put over layer of stuffing mix already in pan.
  • Put the remaining half of stuffing mix on top of this.
  • Beat eggs and milk; pour over top of casserole.
  • Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
