- 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
- 1/4 lb. oleo (1 stick)
- 1 c. water
- 3 c. chicken or turkey, diced
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. green onions, diced
- 1/2 c. celery, cut up
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. College Inn broth
Method
- Mix together lightly first 3 ingredients.
- Put 1/2 of mixture in buttered 9 x 12-inch pan.
- Combine chicken, onions, mayonnaise and salt; put over layer of stuffing mix already in pan.
- Put the remaining half of stuffing mix on top of this.
- Beat eggs and milk; pour over top of casserole.
- Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
