Ingredients

  • Pastry shell (2)
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey or chicken
  • 3/4 cup cooked mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • bit of peppter

Method

  • 1. saute first 3 ingredients
  • 2. put turkey into pie shell pastry
  • 3. combine all other ingredients and spoon over turkey
  • 4. put top shell on pastry, and squeeze edges. Poke the top of shell with a fork.
  • 5. cook until crust is golden at 425 celcius. It will take about 20-25 minutes (from fresh). Or once you see gravy bubbling through when done (from frozen).
  • Let stand from 10-15 minutes to thicken.
