Ingredients
- Pastry shell (2)
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 2 celery sticks
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups chopped cooked turkey or chicken
- 3/4 cup cooked mixed vegetables
- 1/2 tsp salt
- bit of peppter
Method
- 1. saute first 3 ingredients
- 2. put turkey into pie shell pastry
- 3. combine all other ingredients and spoon over turkey
- 4. put top shell on pastry, and squeeze edges. Poke the top of shell with a fork.
- 5. cook until crust is golden at 425 celcius. It will take about 20-25 minutes (from fresh). Or once you see gravy bubbling through when done (from frozen).
- Let stand from 10-15 minutes to thicken.
