Ingredients

  • 2 c. diced cooked turkey or chicken
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 1/4 c. broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. milk or cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
  • grated cheese
  • bread crumbs or Pepperidge Farm dressing

Method

  • Saute onion and celery in margarine until tender.
  • Add flour. Stir in broth; cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add cream of mushroom soup and cream; remove from heat.
  • Add turkey, mixing lightly.
  • Cook spaghetti according to directions.
  • Place spaghetti in bottom of 2-quart casserole dish.
  • Pour on turkey mixture, then top with cheese and bread crumbs mixed together.
  • Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
