Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 8 oz. carton sour cream
  • 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar together until smooth.
  • Add eggs; beat well.
  • Add remaining ingredients; beat well.
  • Pour into well-greased tube pan.
  • Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted into cake will come out clean.
  • Cool 10 minutes in pan, then invert on wire rack to cool.
