Ingredients

  • 500 grams?! Chicken wing drumettes
  • 1/2 Daikon radish
  • 1 add (to taste) Garlic
  • 200 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sake
  • 1/2 tbsp Miso

Method

  • Cut the daikon and then simmer in a pot until they soften.
  • In a deep frying pan, add in the oil and grated garlic (tubed).
  • Once it's aromatic, add in the chicken drumettes and stir fry until they start to brown.
  • Next, add in the softened daikon and the ingredients and simmer.
  • Once it's started to cook down a bit, add the miso and continue cooking down until the sauce is almost gone.
  • Once it's browned and shiny, it's done.
  • May 24th, 2007 It's delicious without the daikon too.
