Ingredients

  • 15 ounces, weight Canned Tomato Sauce
  • 2/3 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 cups Dark Molasses
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper

Method

  • Dump all ingredients into a medium sauce pot and set over medium heat. Stir and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10-12 minutes to reduce, then remove from heat. Taste, then salt and pepper as needed.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use. Will keep up to 3 weeks.
