- 15 ounces, weight Canned Tomato Sauce
- 2/3 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 cups Dark Molasses
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
Method
- Dump all ingredients into a medium sauce pot and set over medium heat. Stir and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10-12 minutes to reduce, then remove from heat. Taste, then salt and pepper as needed.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use. Will keep up to 3 weeks.
