Ingredients

  • 16 oz. tofu (soft or regular firmness)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 c. soda crackers, crushed
  • 1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1 heaping tsp. sage
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder

Method

  • Mash tofu.
  • If using regular firmness, blend in blender or food processor until smooth.
  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Let set in refrigerator to thicken before forming into balls.
  • After forming balls, bake on lightly oiled cookie sheet in 350° to 400° oven for 30 minutes or until browned (turn after 10 to 15 minutes).
  • Serves 8 to 10.
