Ingredients
- 3 lb. white cabbage, chopped fine
- 1 green bell pepper
- 2 onions
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 or 2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Method
- Let cabbage, bell pepper, onions and sugar stand while preparing oil, vinegar, celery seed and salt.
- Bring oil mixture to a boil.
- While hot, pour over cabbage mixture and stir.
- Will keep for 3 weeks in refrigerator.
