Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Sour Cream
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1/2 envelopes (about 1 Oz. Envelope) Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Divided
  • 1 cup Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 2 stalks Green Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 6 slices Bacon, Cooked Crisp

Method

  • In mixing bowl, cream together the sour cream, cream cheese and dry ranch mix.
  • Add half of the sharp cheese, the pepper jack cheese, green onions and crushed crisp bacon.
  • Fold until blended.
  • Place mixture on a piece of plastic wrap and shape into a ball as best you can.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour.
  • Take the ball out of the plastic and smooth it with your hands.
  • Roll the cheese ball in the remaining sharp cheddar cheese.
  • You might need to press the shredded cheese into the ball if it is too cold and firm.
  • Serve with crackers.
  • Store tightly wrapped in the fridge.
