Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 large onions
  • 1 green pepper, minced
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. uncooked Minute rice
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Saute the onions and green pepper in the salad oil until they are tender.
  • Add the ground beef.
  • Cook until the beef is brown. Stir in the tomatoes, uncooked rice, chili powder, salt and pepper.
  • Pour into a 2-quart baking dish.
  • Bake 1 hour in a 350° oven.
