Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 small clove garlic, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate
- dash of ginger
Method
- Combine ground beef with remaining ingredients; mix well. Shape into 6 patties or 3 large "steaks".
- Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 10 minutes, turning once.
