Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. red cake coloring
Method
- Stir until well blended.
- Dip apples into syrup, turning until well coated.
- Place on oil paper to harden.
- They may be rolled in chopped nuts or coconut.
- Do this immediately after coating.
