- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 c. water
- 2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes, cut up
- 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- corn chips
- sour cream
Method
- In a large pan, cook ground chuck and onions; drain.
- Add water, undrained tomatoes, undrained kidney beans, tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix.
- Simmer, covered, 15 to 20 minutes. Top each bowl of soup with cheese, corn chips and sour cream.
- Serves 6 to 8.
