Ingredients
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 Tbsp. molasses or heavy syrup
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- pastry for 2 crust pie
Method
- Cook raisins in water until tender.
- Add mixture of sugar and flour.
- Add oleo, molasses and vinegar to raisin mixture.
- Cook until thick; cool slightly.
- Pour into pie shell and cover with top crust.
- Bake in moderate oven until done at 350°, about 30 minutes.
