Ingredients
- 1 packet yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup water lukewarm
- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Combine 2 3/4 cups flour and the salt.
- Stir yeast mixture and oil into flour mix until a dough forms.
- On a lightly floured board, knead dough about 10 minutes, working in up to 1/2 cup more flour, until dough is no longer sticky.
- Put dough in a well oiled bowl, cover and let rise for about 40 minutes or until doubled in size.
