Ingredients

  • 1 lb. or more stew beef
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (16 oz.) can water
  • 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
  • 1 medium onion
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch to thicken

Method

  • Brown stew beef.
  • Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and 4 tablespoons brown sugar.
  • When brown, add tomatoes, green beans, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce and water.
  • Cook for 1 hour. Add cornstarch to cold water to thicken.
  • When done, serve over rice or noodles.
