Ingredients
- about 2 lb. round steak (1-inch thick), cut in serving pieces
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, drained
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. juice (from tomatoes)
- 1 Tbsp. A.1. sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Method
- Place steak in casserole dish with well fitting lid.
- Add butter, soup mix, bell pepper and tomatoes.
- Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over steak. Cover well and bake about 2 hours at 350°.
