Ingredients
- 1 cup Dried Red Chiles
- 1 cup Warm Water, Or More
- 1/4 cups Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 4 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Method
- Soak the chilies in a bowl of warm water (use enough water to cover chilies completely) for about 15 minutes. When the chilies get soft, drain off the water and put them in a blender with the garlic, sugar and salt. Blend them all together into a paste.
- Put the chutney into a glass bottle and lastly, add olive oil. Shake well. Store the chutney in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Use it in a very small quantities as it is very hot!
