Ingredients
- 7 chicken wings
- 1 Tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 piece ginger
Method
- Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper.
- Put them into a pot with a little oil and fry until the chicken browns, then add the sliced ginger.
- When the ginger starts to smell good, add the Shaoxing wine, sugar, chicken stock, salt, pepper, and water.
- Boil for about 20 minutes on medium heat until the soup is almost completely reduced.
- This is delicious to serve with vegetables, such as sliced cabbage, lettuce or bok choy.
- Put the chicken wings on the vegetables and pour the rest of sauce on the top.
