Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. Brown 'N Serve sausage, cut in half
  • 1 pkg. hot dogs, cut in quarters
  • 1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 2 large green peppers
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce (to taste)
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar

Method

  • Brown hot dogs and sausage for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Drain juice from cherries and pineapple.
  • Add these juices with rest of liquids.
  • Add brown sugar and simmer for 1/2 hour.
  • Thicken with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
  • Add pepper, pineapple and cherries. Cook for 3 minutes.
