Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (16 oz.) bottle chili sauce
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 5 to 6 oz. grape jelly
Method
- Mix ground beef, egg, onion and salt.
- Prepare meatballs and set aside.
- Mix in large saucepan chili sauce, lemon juice and grape jelly.
- Add meatballs.
- Simmer 1 to 2 hours.
- (To reduce the fat in the sauce, you may cook the meatballs first in the microwave and drain; then add to sauce and simmer until heated through.)
