Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) bottle chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 5 to 6 oz. grape jelly

Method

  • Mix ground beef, egg, onion and salt.
  • Prepare meatballs and set aside.
  • Mix in large saucepan chili sauce, lemon juice and grape jelly.
  • Add meatballs.
  • Simmer 1 to 2 hours.
  • (To reduce the fat in the sauce, you may cook the meatballs first in the microwave and drain; then add to sauce and simmer until heated through.)
