Ingredients
- 9-inch baked pie shell
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch (heaping)
- 3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
- 2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
- 1 qt. fresh strawberries
Method
- Cook water, sugar, cornstarch, jello and Karo syrup until thickened, then cool.
- Slice or quarter strawberries into a 9-inch baked pie shell.
- Pour cooled, thickened mixture over strawberries.
- Refrigerate.
- Top with Cool Whip when serving. Yield:
- 6 servings.
