Ingredients
- 4 c. shredded cabbage
- 2 apples, peeled, cored and finely chopped
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. vinegar
Method
- Place cabbage in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Combine remaining ingredients.
- Pour over cabbage.
- Cook, covered, for 9 to 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
- Stir once during cooking period.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
