Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 medium bell pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. white vinegar
Method
- Chop cabbage, bell pepper and onion and mix together.
- Then in separate pan, mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed, salt and turmeric and bring to a boil.
- Let boil for 2 minutes, then pour over cabbage, bell pepper and onion mixture.
- Mix good.
- Let stand overnight in refrigerator before serving.
- Will keep in refrigerator for two weeks.
